What is the syllabus?

8 Lessons covering The Menstrual Health Timeline, Hormone Essentials, Menstrual Health, Perimenopause & Menopause, Signs & Symptoms, Risks & Consequences, Complementary & Lifestyle options, Prescribed Treatments. Followed by the framework for Creating Conversations, at an intermediate level.

What is the learning format?

The content is composed of class notes, downloads, videos, and LIVE Q & A community coaching.

This course includes access to Level 1 which we advise completing before attempting Level 2.

A pass at Level 1 is a pre-requisite to getting a pass at Level 2.

What is the assessment?

There are 9 quizzes to complete in full. The quiz questions are based on the core content theory and videos and take approximately 10 minutes to complete each one. A 100% pass rate is expected, and retakes are permitted. You are invited to attend the live Q & A Community Calls. They are a great experience but for this course, they are not a requirement of the accreditation.

How long does the course take to complete?

The core content and quizzes can be studied on average in approximately 6.5 hours. Taking the Quizzes and preparation time will take approximately 1.5 hour to complete and submit. On successful completion of all lessons and the quizzes, you will receive an award from The Menopause School as accredited to Level 2 - Menopause Care Skills. You will receive a certificate in recognition of the course completion.

Who is this course suitable for?

Professionals who want to have an higher level accredited qualification to enable them to work on a more supportive level with clients and people they serve. You may already have some great knowledge, and an existing modality but it would be much more interesting if you could study with a team of like-minded educators and practitioners. This course is also a great stepping stone to our Level 3 - Menopause Doula Training Course.

What templates do you include?

You will have access to the complete slide deck for The Story of Menopause - a compact visual way of explaining menopause to groups during an awareness presentation and the Menopause Tool Kit slide deck for Menopause Workshops. Plus The Menopause School, Menopause Journal and Tracker to share with those you support.

How long can I access the Community?

The Community is free to access for anyone who has enrolled in The Menopause School, for as long as you wish. Experience tells us that being in this wellness area is often much harder to succeed in that you may believe. As such our door is always open to support you in helping those you serve.

How does this course compare to the other Menopause School courses?

The Menopause Care Skills course enables you to build on what you have already learnt in Level 1. The content takes a deeper look at the science behind the story. You will feel more confident when leading talks and training once you have studied this course. It is an intermediate-level format and enables practitioners of more advanced knowledge to learn and discover the essentials of menstrual and menopause health. The content is built around our 'structure related to function' framework and the values and beliefs are within our overarching philosophy. Compared to other courses, it's robust but can still be studies within a short period of time. You can be up and running with our innovative and engaging information in a few days.

Can I upgrade to Level 3 later?
