What Does a Menopause Doula Do?
A Menopause Doula is someone who can guide, nurture, and support you, from periods to perimenopause and beyond.

Menopause Talking Therapy
Creating confident conversations about menstrual health, from periods to perimenopause and beyond, is the core aim.
We want you to complete a session with us knowing you have easy to use, actionable information, to create clarity and calm.
You can't manage what you don't understand. And, if confusion is overwhelming you, making great decisions is tricky.
Our steps are straightforward and tailored to you:
Guide- we like to learn about your menstrual health journey so far. A retrospective look at your lived experiences is incredibly helpful and an opportunity to connect with you in a relevant and meaningful way.
Nurture- we provide some helpful resources to give you some background knowledge and then you have plenty of time to ask questions.
Support- we gradually explore how we can enable you to build a menstrual health tool kit and start planning your next best steps.
The Tools in our framework
The Menopause Support System Questionnaire(MSSQ) - we ask you to complete this prior to the conversation.
Journal & Tracker- includes a signs and symptoms checker, and a menstrual health diary to complete before and after the session.
A Menstrual Health Tool kit- items and actions that create a whole person approach. Designed by you, for you.
Navigating the menstrual health timeline well, works best when the tools are relatable and easy to be consistent with. You need to be completely comfortable with the choices or you won't use them.
The basic tools are blended around our5 Virtual Vitamins.
Clinical Therapy
We are advocates for menopausal hormone therapy. But we are not clinical practitioners and do to prescribe.
We can however talk through all the different types and regimes, and give you a clearer understanding of how and when you can choose to use them.
If your aim is to speak with a health care professional we can also help you to prepare for that conversation.
Who can work with a Menopause Doula?
Anyone. It could be the person going through the experience or the people who love them.
If you want to speak with someone with lived experience, and a lot of helpful tools and resources then this is the conversation for you.
You could be someone who’s done a lot of homework, but hasn’t quite figured out the best way forward and would like some signposting and support.
Maybe you have tried all the lifestyle measures, even added a sprinkle ofhormone therapy, but still feel exhausted and want some help.
